Ubuntu installation stopped Win7 from loading

Specs: Linux i686
Since I installed Ubuntu, yesterday, my Windows 7 refuses to boot. After some trouble shooting, I arrived to the conclusion that I need an install cd to make my way into Windows and issue a command in the terminal window. But Dell doesnt give away an install CD so I just downloaded an image of the install and was wondering if there is a way to mount it on a USB key instead of burning it to a DVD.

Can anyone help out?

The key is in setting up your bootloader (Grub?) correctly, hence the transfer of the forum.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
