Specs: Ubuntu 11.04, Pentium M
Hello, I just upgraded from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04, and my visual effects won't work, even when I select them from the compiz config settings manager. I have a Dell Latitude D410, and everything worked fine with 10.10, so I'm pretty sure it's not my graphics card, although it wouldn't let me try the new unity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael

Don't know, but I use 11.04 in the NO-extras tab from the bottom of the Sign in menu where the password is. It almost sounds like you have that tab selected when you sign in. That disables many effects. When I do sign into UBUNTU on the tab menu, it all works. I'm not Nutty bout Natty's menus and new set up. I like my old 10.10 desktop menus.
