Hello folks,
Hope you can help.
I have a Motorola SB5101 Surfboard Cable modem and I would like a driver for it to connect onto the Internet. I have recently installed Ubantu Linux 10.10 which does not have a drive to get connected.
Do you have a driver / hack / fix for this predicament?

I assume you want to connect the modem to your computer with an ethernet cable? You don't need a driver for the modem, you need a driver for your ethernet card (or onboard LAN). Are you sure your ethernet port is enabled?

How does the modem connect to the computer?

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
