Suse Linux shutdwon by itself

Specs: SUSE Linux
Hi,i am using SUSE Linux for my client and everything work fine for almost 5 years 24/7 ,but recently it started to shutdown by itself for apparent reason.How could i check/diagnose the problem ,any idea ?i already done some analysis on hard disk but seem no problem.

I think some logs may exist in /var if enabled.

I'd begin to wonder if it isn't more hardware related. Maybe heat from fouled up fans or power supply or even memory going bad. Many could be monitored if setup.

I'd run some diags on it. Since it is 5 years old it may be time to simply replace. (a new one may not be better however)

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
