Specs: Linux i686
Actually i had tried to give permission to root directory but after given permission i unable to switch user & to start ssh service...plz help me

could u give the exact error which u are getting.

Also check to see if ssh daemon service is started using command
ps -ef | grep sshd

if not then go to sshd path and execute following cmd
./sshd start

Normal way is to ssh a limited user account and then sudo commands.
