This is not easy with a single software .You need to plan a solutions as per your requirements .

You have to implement Microsoft active directory as a server with group policy implemented and need a VPN server and client there are several are VPN solutions available today. You need to setup PPTP VPN server in server side (you need VPN server in your network firewall or router or you need a separate one for eg:http://fix-target.com/openvpn-open-source-vpn-solution/ ) you need to install VPN client to the remote clients ie laptops.

Say you have a private network running in 192.168.0.0 and you have a firewall cum router and you have an internet conenction with static IP address and you have installed a domain controller (windows active directory) with group policy ( this is used to restrict user access in network resources and all .You need to edit group policy as per your requirements (http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/policies.html) implemented in the 192.168.0.0 network. And you are running PPTP server (need help? http://fix-target.com/what-is-vpn/)

See how it works

When a remote client connect to the 192.168.0.0 NW via internet using the public ip address of your PPTP server the clinet also part of the 192.168.0.0 NW So then then a user will login to the windows server domain controller (windows active directory) and get limited access as you have configured the group policy.
but you need to implement establishing a VPN connection before logging in to Windows server .http://fix-target.com/connect-to-vpn-before-logging-in-to-windows/

✔ Best Answer
Try these http://www.voip-sol.com/top-gotomyp... .But without VPN the connection between client and server is not secure
