RHEL 5.0 and Windows 7 Does not boot in AMD

Specs: Windows 7 and RHEL 5.0, AMD 2.0 GHZ
I have a maxtor hard disk which has Dual OS (RHEL 5.0 and Widnows 7). Initially I was using an intel mother borad, with which I installed the dual OS. Now that I have replaced my board to Asus, which has 2.0 GHZ AMD processor and 2 GB DDR2 RAM,both the operating systems are not booting if I connect the hard disk to the new Asus Board. Linux says volume group failed to load, KERNEL PANIC and hangs. Windows 7 takes me to repair option (recommended) and start windows normally. If I select start windows normally, I am able to see the Windows 7 logo and after that it restarts. It does not even take me to the logon Window. The interesting fact is that, if I connect the same hard disk to another PC which has an intel board, both the operating system are booting perfectly. kindly help me. Is this a driver signature issue (or) RAM issue ?.

Why is it "interesting"? It makes perfect sense. And you're being told to run the "repair option (recommended)", so why haven't you done so?

I'd guess the way the old system reported drive and volume is different. Can you access the drive by booting to a live cd like fedora to be sure the data is intact?

Depends on how it was set up. Some boot to uuid and some boot to boot order. I suspect that the boot order is changed in this install as proven by the add hard drive. Fix boot loader.

Also check if version of Linux is for AMD or Intel. Some versions don't have auto switching.
