Recover Ubuntu Grub boot loader menu

Specs: UBUNTU 10.04, Intel dual core 1.7 GHz RAM 512 MB
My PC harddisk has 4 primary partition. Those are sda1, sda2, sda3 and sda4. 1st I had installed Windows XP SP2 in partition sda1, then I installed Ubuntu 10.04 in partition sda4. for various problem I installed Windows in sda1 again. After this I can not boot from Ubuntu. Wanna help.

Usually one boots to a live cd and re-installs grub. Later you may have to edit the config to match what you have.

You may also be able to use windows to chain load to linux.

Plenty of pages out there on this topic.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
