Solved Primary partition to logical partition - is there data loss?

Specs: Windows Vista
It would make sense if trying like me to do a dual boot with 4 partitions already used.
It would seem that I could use EaseUS Partition Manager to convert a partition I just hold data on to a logical partition?? I don't really understand about Extended partitions, plus I can't see any reason for the data partition to be primary, so it would seem to make sense to do this --
But like the other posters I don't know if there would be data loss.
What is my best option here?
Is is better to work on an extended partition method?

✔ Best Answer
Easeus can convert primary partitions to logical (and vice versa) without data loss. However, as in any similar process, you should ensure that you have a good backup of any important data before undertaking such an operation. Better safe than sorry.
