ping +1 errors

I'm trying to understand what "+1 errors" means when ping displays it results.
Most of the time, if some packets are not received, same message is displayed without "+1 errors".
What can be the difference?

60 packets transmitted, 55 received, +1 errors, 8% packet loss, time 59079ms

Thanks
Haydar

Shouldn't it be 59 + 1 error equals 60?
