No boot menu after installing ubuntu 12.10

Specs: Windows 7, Core i5 3rd Gen 2.501 Ghz / 4GB
I just made a full install of ubuntu 12.10 along side win7

after installing ubuntu there is no boot option to select the OS which i want to bootup
i tried easy BCD but still no good

installation procedure was like this

I was having 3 partitions C,D,E
I installed ubuntu in drive E with primary partition & mount point = /

In C drive i have windows 7

i managed to dual boot now.
google did the trick.
