Multiple vhost in single ip

Specs: Linux x86_64
HI
how to create multiple vhost in single elastic ip address.
I need to create vhost for example.com and in tomcat - "app1.example.com" and "dev.example.com/phpmyadmin" and "dev.example.com/phppgdmin" please help me any1.
Is there any possible without using dns to create this.. please help me

As you are requesting different hostnames you need to have DNS entries for them. The alternative is to set your virtual hosts to use the same hostname but a different port.

For the two "dev.example.com" entries you just need to use the full URL to access the application - DNS won't help here. This assumes that you have a DNS entry for "dev.example.com".

I think you mean host headers even though the domain is really the same.

You can host a website without using DNS if you are happy to access it using a dotted quad only. E.g. http://123.123.123.123. But otherwise it is, obviously, impossible.

Depends on how you want to access it. Locally you can do it from hosts file or wins server. Externally you could use dynamic dns.
