Specs: PHLAK, intel core 2 duo, 4 GB DDR3 RAM
i have used a couple of Linux distro live CDs on my Acer Aspire 5739G laptop (intel core 2 duo, ATI radeon HD 4570, 4GB DDR3 RAM), but this security distro named P.H.L.A.K is showing some errors after choosing a boot mode in the GRUB boot menu. The messages displayed are:

looking for CDROM in : /dev/ubd[1-9]
warning : unable to find base module !
can't find P.H.L.A.K filesystem, sorry
Dropping you to a busy box shell
Make sure you have a P.H.L.A.K base image on your CD-ROM/HDD/Network devices
Press Reset button to quit
.
.
#(some more such text)
.

.
/static/ash: can't access tty : job control turned off
phlak#

When i used this cd on my desktop pc (512 mb ram, intel pentium 4 processor) i could boot into it. but the problem remains with my laptop though i use the same cd !!
So......Is there any way I can boot into this distro like maybe using some specific boot options? Plz help. I'm desperate to try my hands on this.
:-(

It may not be a good disk.

Try the disk on some other system.

Try safe mode.
