Specs: Linux i686 Mandriva, 512
When the screen is switched to F1 to F12, bash, the screen is constantly blanked out. Once in a while a Large orange C the size of the screen, with the time in the bottom right corner comes on for a split second. It also disrupts the shutdown splash. Anyone have any idea what this is? Is this part of Mandriva 2009 or is this the actual laptop. Checked the bios, didnt seem like anything could be turned off that shouldnt be on. Google comes up with nothing.

Might it be a signal from the monitor that is basically saying check the signal source?

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

I dont think so, it's just a large orange C that keeps blinking, like some kind of screen saver. But if I go into safe mode, sh. It doesnt do it.
