Specs: Windows Vista Home Premium 64Bit
I am using Vista 64Bit on my laptop now I want to install Oracle Enterprise linux as well while keeping the Vista on my laptop.
Since my hard drive space does not allow me to do so therefore I am plannig to buy external hard drive.
Please let me know if can successfuly install and operate Oracel Enterprise Linux from my external Hard Drive. Please also advise me which external hard drive would be suitable for this task.

Kind Regards,
Fawad

You may be able to. Oracle is a clone of RH linux. It should support grub to a usb external.

Why bother though. I'd consider using a Virtual Machine instead if you have enough ram and your system is rather new.
