Look in device manager on Windows to find out the make and model of your wireless adapter. Not all adapters are supported in Linus, and many need a bit of additional work before they are recognized.

For whatever reason, many LINUX distros have problems detecting wifi adapters, especially Broadcom devices. You can either install the drivers manually, or switch adapters, or switch distros.

I like Zorin but have had better luck with Mint. I prefer the Xfce edition.

ridder is one of several linux gurus here; so his advice (and one or two other's in general re' linux) is worth serious consideration at any time; not the least here re' changing distro?....
