I installed UBUNTU on a USB Stick, and wish to wipe it. Nothing works to erase the stupid swap partition, not even UBUNTU. I have tried 18 Different Programs, the Windoze Disk Mgmt, 4 bootable cdrom, and the result is either the prog doesn't see the stick, or errors like windoze. Further, the rest of the stick 15GB isn't recognized, or errors or UBUNTU deletes it and then sneaks on something that won't let it be wiped. I figure the last hope is to go to an XBOX360 and try to use it as a savegame stick. Then, I Hope, XBOX will wipe it and install it's files. ARRRRRGH why did I leave OpenBSD,,,,,I am going back
It may be that you need to use swapoff to basically unmount it Then you can delete it. http://linux.about.com/library/cmd/... Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
you may try a more powerful uninstall tool.
Hi! That would be great, but the drive is without os. I'll try the ultimatebootcd (Ialready downloaded it and will try it NOW) :-)
