Specs: Linux x86_32, VIA Nehemia
Hi All,

I installed gentoo on VIA Nehemia mini box using handbook and quick install guide. In the end I recognized my grub.config wasn't right. So I have to manually fix it while booting, but cannot reinstall the grub.

Might work if you boot to the gentoo live cd and install grub that way. I am pretty sure that there are a number of ways to do it also. Some others may have a way.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

You can edit the commands on the grub boot menu as you boot, assuming that you know what they are. Then reinstall grub. If not then I would boot from the Live CD, mount the root file system (to /mnt for example), chroot to /mnt, and then reinstall grub.

Alternatively, just start from scratch and reinstall the lot. That might be quicker if you are not familiar with the concepts that I mentioned earlier.
