In general, installing an OS on one computer and then moving the disk to another computer doesn't work. Why don't you just install directly on the target machine?

Well, if you have to install on a number of machines then swapping the hard disks for each one seems like a big waste of time. Much easier just to install directly from a bootable device and save having to tear each one apart.

Or else just use cloning software to copy the disk.
