how to extract the downloaded ubundu files

Specs: ubundu
im trying to put ubundu 11.04 on my laptop but after i downloaded the files of of ubundus website they opened up in winzip and i just high lighted all of the files and hit extract but when i use universal usb creator i cant find the iso am i extracting them right

Ubuntu is downloaded as a single file in ISO format (image file). The file is just under 700MB in size so that it will fit on a CD. The ISO file needs to be downloaded, then burned to disk using a program such as ImgBurn.

I think that one (or a few) of the installers will download the correct file for you even.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
