how do i take linux of my computer?

Specs: N/A
so yeh i recently installed linux ubuntu on my comp in the hopes that it would run faster, but im now finding it annoying

and i have no idea how to get rid of it and reinstall windows xp

the old put in the start up disk and mash f8 isnt working

can someone help and be really specific in what i need to do? the o0nly reason i ask here is because i dont understand what i've read in other similar topics.

so yeh!

Put in your XP disk.

Make sure the BIOS/boot order is set to boot from the CD-Rom first, before the Hard Disk.

Reboot the comp.

sorry im not to savy with comps. how do i make sure the BIOS/boot order is set to boot from the CD-rom? (or dvd drive?)

Dunno what F8 is used for but some computers need a ps/2 keyboard. Some usb keyboards are not active until the OS takes control.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
