Hotmail Mail Server for Desktop and Laptop

Hi, I have a Guruplug set up with a 320GB hard drive. I'm looking to set up a mail server that will grab its data (mail, address book, calendar) from Hotmail. I'd like for the desktop and laptop to grab from the server so that they are always in sync rather than synchronizing the PST files, which can be a pain sometimes. Is this possible?

Only if hotmail supports normal pop and I think they stopped that like 15 years ago.

Did they fix the heat problem?

I have a paid account. I only have the Guruplug Server and it's never got that hot on me yet.
