Dear All,
I want Linux server ghost to another one clone server using pear to pear <crossover cable>. How can I start and what I need? Thanks.

If the drives are similar then that is needed usually. You can most time easily copy from a smaller to a larger. Larger to smaller causes issues in some cases.

Basically you need two computers fully working with some OS that has the needed tools. Live cd's and live usb's are usually the way to start. Floppies may work also.

Then you set up some IP to nics. (by the way you don't usually need a crossover. Every nic made in the last ten years supports auto correct for cable)

Then you set some transport like ftp or nc or both.

Then you use some copy tool like dd or cat or tar or partimage or such to copy over data.

Good live cd's might be knoppix, partimage, maybe ping can be used. Not sure if clonezilla can do that yet.

Ultimate boot cd might be useful too.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

It's far easier to put both disks in the one computer, use disk cloning software to clone the disk, and then move the target to the other computer.
