Solved fuzzy vertical lines on my laptop screen

Specs: Peppermint 2, Intel pentium 3 / 256 Megs
I installed Peppermint 2 on my laptop and when i boot it from the CD, it has these fuzzy black lines going up and down a great part of the right side of the screen. It did the same thing with Ubuntu, which i also tried with a CD boot. I think it has to do with the graphics card, which is the ATI Mobility 128 AGP 2X (DELL) I do not know how to update the driver, if it even needs that. I need help. I have tried all of those things in the settings for the monitor and graphics. ??? Help!?!

✔ Best Answer
What driver is Peppermint using ?

You may need the fglrx driver package, should be in Synaptic Package Manager:

Googling is quicker than waiting for an answer....
