But I was wondering If anyone knew any similar Software for Linux.
Needs to be able to Create SWF files.

Thanks dude.

Just a question. Cause I've never Installed anything this way in Linux.(Only from the Software Centre)

How Do I install the Tar.gz files.

I've just looked it up but they say
./configure
make
make install

Which Is the part I'm stuck on. Where do I put this and wouldn't I have to put the Installation Directory somewhere ?

Put the downloaded file in a temp folder like /tmp.
cd /tmp
tar xfvz filename.tar.gz
ls -l
search the folder name of the extracted tar file.
cd folder_of_extracted_tar_file
./configure
make
make install

That's it.

I don't mean to bug you I know these kinda things can annoy you lol but I come across a problem. I had to install zlib for it to compile to SWF or something. I done that.

When I come to type Make install It doesn't do it. And It hasn't Installed anywhere.
I checked over everything and there's no errors.

This is the last of the console until i put in Make install

Ubuntu has a way to install apps so you don't have fool with this stuff. .

Open synaptic and search for swf.

I support the 'Everybody Draw Mohammed Day'. A religion doesn't deny my freedom.
