Specs: Linux x86_64, AMD8-core
Hi all,

Host Ubuntu 12.04 desktop 64bit
Oracle VirtualBox

Firefox crashes immediately after start. I have tried many time diable add-on on safe-mode. Also after deleting ~/.mozilla reinstall Firefox without result. I can start Firefox on safe-mode but it crashes immediate on browsing Internet.

This happened when I installed MSWindow8 guest. Removing it doesn't solving the crashing problem.

Please help.

TIA

Firefox is a memory hog. How much memory is, in the machine?

Also, besides giving some more info on the machine, is there any other browser you've tried (successfully or unsuccessfully)?

Hi all,

32G RAM onboard DDR3 1600 dual channel.

I have tried many ways unable to make Firefox works. I also subscribe firefox/mozilla forum. They can't help me out. VirtualBox forum said "there is nothing related to VirtualBox, if Win8 guest has been deleted".

I'm now running Google Chrome. So far there is no problem found.
