Specs: Windows 7, 2.6 GHz / 4095 MB
Installed Windows 7 then installed Ubuntu 11.10 inside of Windows using Wubi. It is included in the new Ubuntu version. Now I cannot boot into Ubuntu from the Windows Boot Manager. I get error "Windows failed to start..A recent hardware or software change" wubildr.mbr is missing or corrupt status 0xc000000f

When I select Windows 7 from the os boot changes it loads fine.

Wubi stinks on some systems. I'd consider using a virtual machine if your system is good enough and it looks ok from what you posted. If not then I'd use the add and remove program feature in windows 7 to remove this install. Then I'd do a normal boot to ubuntu cd and install it that way instead of wubi.

jefro is correct. Try to reinstall the OS again.
Make sure you install them correctly.
