thanks joker, have you or anyone used bonnie++ before? I was able to install it on ubuntu through apt but i needed to run it on rhel6.1. However i downloaded the rpm and did rpm -i <filename>.rpm it is complaining about the missing library. I am not very familiar with rhel so not sure what to do in this case. thanks,
