Specs: Lubuntu, 2gb ram 1.7ghz
I'm changing my os to lubuntu while i opened boot menu at last it said dhcp configuration failed now it says dhcp failure and I am not able to lubuntu its stuck in the middle

There is no DOS in Linux. DHCP has to do with network configuration. A better explanation would be helpful. Can you boot off the Lubuntu disc or USB stick & run it directly without installation?

BTW, why Lubuntu?

If the computer is not picking up an address via dhcp it means that either dhcp isn't working on your network (unlikely), or that the network card in your computer isn't supported by Lubuntu. I've never come across a wired network card that isn't supported, but several wireless network cards are not supported (or not without further configuration).

As you give no details of your computer or your network, it's difficult to guess what the problem is. My bet would be that you are using wirless networking and have an unsupported wireless card. Solution - use a wired connection.

DOS has nothing to do with installing Linux.

My previous comments still apply - your most likely problem is an unsupported wireless network chipset.
