creating debian launchers into terminal apps

Specs: debian
hey guys

I'm trying to create launchers in debian that will open up a terminal, and the associated application, with root or super user rights. for example, i want to click on the launcher in the menu, and would like it to open up a terminal and 'wine' or another app immediately without me having to type out 'wine'. also as said earlier, it has to launch it with root or su access.

I can create basic shortcuts, but anything involving a terminal is a no-no so far.

any ideas guys?

thanks.

Let me split that a bit.

If you understand batch or .bat files in windows then you may get the script files in linux.

Script files are just typed commands that can be run at one shot.

Now as to the permissions that is a bit different. One may wish to add in the user as having rights or make it a sudo user without password. May be other ways too.

thanks for that. i guess ill rephrase the question then.

does anyone know of any good material online to assist me in writing a script file that will launch a terminal (or root terminal) and also launch an application within that terminal?

Unless you have a korn or other shell. The two above are most common I'd think.
