I wanna install java jdk on my linux,so donwload that,it's rpm.there can't install ,need convert type.
command ,sudo alien name.rpm.
but,show a error ,can't create some file.
any one can give me a url.about java jdk download url and how to install it document.it's deb.

Is there some reason why you're not using Synaptic?
Where did you download it from? The official Oracle JDK download is a .sh file that you just run as a shell script.
