I have installed DRBL server on a machine running Ubuntu 10.10
I then setup computers to dual boot Win7 and Ubuntu.
When I use clonezilla to multicast a "Golden drive image" to the computers all goes well.
When I boot to Win7 I have setup DRBL-winroll to set the computer name and workgroup and the correct ip-address, all this works well. I need to be able to use DRBL to re-image specific computers and would like to communicate with the computers whether they are in win7 or ubuntu. using the ssh connection in DRBL-winroll, I think I have set it up OK "Following the instructions on www.drbl-winroll.org. AM I missing something with win7When I ask DRBL to reboot or shutdown a windows7 machine _ always get a timeout and a failure to communicate on port 22
I know nothing of what you just stated, but from the port issue, windows have stupid security issues and tend to block incoming and outgoing connections alot, that also includes blocking ports. check port is open, and in the advanced system config, msconfig or something simular because i can't recall as i use linux mint 10 now ...
you need to enable remote assistance to all devices and open the ports, on every machine if not all on the same connection.
