Solved auto start ubuntu like windows task scheduler

Specs: ubuntu 11.04
Hi

On windows i can use windows task scheduler to automactically wake up pc and run task. can this be done on ubuntu 11.04 without WOL(wake on lan)?

There might be a few ways. http://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...

You want to wake based on time but the system needs to support sleep or a hybrid sleep both in acpi and OS support of acpi.

I have seen a few ways pm-utils, just depends. The tv people must have it working to be able to record a show.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
