authentication problem

Specs: fedora
after fedora upgrade from 13 to 15 , i start getting authentication failure to all users , now i tried first to edit /etc/shadow using knoppix and removed the password it didn't help , then i tried using GURB and entered new password even added new user .. nothing helping , i can't access the system even not with the new user even that i see it in the list i still get authentication failure...

Can you sudo to any user?

I don't think that the shadow deal has worked in a few years. For some reason I think it borks the whole enchilada.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

thanks for the replay
if i use GURB i can easily access my files and sudo to any user that i want
so wich file to edit in order to fix this problem ?

Try single user mode.

F15 has had some complaints.
