Specs: Macintosh 10.5.8, 1gb 512mb
My iPod touch 4g gets about 2-10 minutes of wifi at a time. After that time it shuts off and I can't receive ANY wifi. Even though the wifi is on. I found that if I turned off my ipod and turned it back on again, it will connect again for maybe 2-3 minutes then shut off again. WHAT WRONG WITH MY NEW IPOD! AHHHHHHH Btw I never had this problem with my old 2nd Gen.

1) Hold the home and sleep button until the phone shuts completely off and the apple logo appears (ignore the "Slide to power off" message).

2) If you are still having problems, restore it via iTunes. You will lose all your music, photos etc. but you should have it backed up anyways.

3) If problems still persist, return it. You're calling it your "new" iPod so you should still be under warranty. If you aren't you can always send it in to Apple for repairs, however, this may cost you.

Can I put a question here?
