why can't I hear my iPod on iPad during games

Specs: N/A
Most of the time my iPad will play my iPod music while I'm playing games like Simply Solitaire. Then there are times the music quits after I open the games. Makes no sense. Doesn't matter if I open game or iPod first, same result. Thanks

I know for a fact that some games (or apps) don't allow music to play in the background while their app is running. Now, if your problem is that the game you usually play plays music and with the same game it does not..then I have no idea and you'd have to contact the game company to find out.

Thank you for the response. This app does allow music to play in background but it only does it occasionally. I must start my iPod/music first before I open the game, it seems and then it works. Sometimes it works even after I start the music after opening the app. Sometimes it won't play at all no matter what I do. Weird. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
