Solved white box with colored rotating circle in Google on iPad

Specs: 7.0.4
This morning a box opened while I was doing a Google search this Google box opened and I thought it was asking me if I wanted to download Google Now or something similar, but I really
didn't really read everything and just clicked on the "x" in the left-hand
corner to get out of it and then this white box (with a rotating colored circle in the middle)
appeared on top of my Google search page and now I can't get rid of it.
Tried just about everything. Any ideas what this is?

Close the program. Double tap the home button, it will bring up the most recently used programs. I'm assuming your using the Google Chrome program so locate that program and swipe up on the picture of Google Chrome. This will close the program. Now try using it again and see if it works.

If that doesn't work, hold down the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, then let it boot up and try it again.
