Is this happening when you try to logon/connect to a wifi pint and so go on-line? If so Iit may be asking for the password also sometimes called the security key, - which the wifi access point uses to control who can connect (to that wifi point).

It is not the same as your logon password to your "nook" - whatever that is... Will have to look up what is a nook...

If your'e trying to logon (go into) to the setup (management) area of a router, that will be another password. Typically it can be admin for both logon and password - on many routers.

So can you explain just a little more what you are trying to do when you get asked for a password (please). Then pholks here can likely help you more...

You have posted 4 times about this problem. I've deleted the other two but I'll leave this one and the one in the networking forum up since there is good information posted in both. Please follow the rules and stop multiple postings.

Your Nook will require the same wireless password that you used to set up your computer to wireless in the first place. You select your network name from the list it finds then put in your wireless password.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
