I use iPod touch 4 & have iOS ver 4.3 installed. I want to load a pdf file saved on my PC to the iPod. I do not want to use WiFi to download the pdf as I do not have a WiFi connection. I simply want to copy & paste the file to my iPod. Is it possible to do so & what app should I use to view the file (free app which is compatible with my iOS ver).

Do you have any connection to the Internet on a PC with iTunes installed on it? You might be able to transfer the pdf document with iTunes. Not sure though, I've never tried. If not, then you would have to download an app such as DiskAid (not free, not sure if there are any free ones) that can transfer files over the USB cord. Then you would need to download another app to read the pdf file. I think they have free pdf readers, have a look in the app store.

Once you install an app like DiskAid, it will let you transfer files to your iPod. You would copy and paste the pdf into the pdf readers folder on the iPod, then it should show up in that app.

Your suggestion worked. I downloaded DiskAid to my PC & also downloaded a pdf reader on my iPod. Then I transferred the pdf file using DiskAid to the iPod (using USB cord) & I was able to view it.

Thanks for your help.
