Solved Using PNY PowerPack T6600, which Output to use for iPhone4S

Specs: iPhone 4S
 Which Output should I use when recharging my iPhone 4S, the 1000mA or the 2400mA?Does it matter, or is one just faster than the other?

 The official iPhone 4s charger output is 5v/1A so you should use the 1000mA output as that's equivalent to 1Amessage edited by phil22

 Stick with the advice already given but as an aside if the connection and polarity is the same then the device will simply draw whatever current it needs. In other words the other connection will not shove 2400mA into it. When you are dealing with voltages it is a different matter - more than the rated voltage (5V in this case) could zap the iPhone. These generalities apply to any electrical kit.I imagine the charger has that higher milliamp rating (2400mA) so that it can deliver it to some other device that actually needs it.Don't be coy about asking basic questions - getting the basics right is well worthwhile.Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanksmessage edited by Derek

 Connection is just a matter of whether the plug fits the socket - sure to if a charger is advertised for use with an iPhone.Similarly, all iPhones are likely to have the same polarity - I was generalising. For other electrical kit it is a matter of finding out what information is available for the device and charger, and/ or being a bit handy with a multi-meter.Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

 Derek is spot on as always but to simplify things a bit, that battery pack outputs to a standard USB connection which will always be 5 volts, nothing more, nothing less and the polarity will always be the same. Voltage and polarity will never be something you have to worry about when dealing with USB ports, it's a standard that won't change.message edited by THX 1138
