Specs: android
I have been using Vodafone's own NUC form to obtain my NUC code, but every time I try to insert my mobile number, the second digit i.e 7 backspaces and erases the 0 Vodafone's live chat said ignore the 0, but the form insists on a 11 digit number.

Get back to Vodaphone and explain the problem just like you explained it in your post.

They more than anyone should know how to deal with a problem on their own NUC form!

When I wanted an unlock code from O2, I sent them the phone's IMEI number by email and they replied with the unlocking code. Couldn't have been any simpler.

So I don't why Vodaphone wants your mobile number, it's the actual phone you're unlocking (which is why it's IMEI is required), and that's got nothing to do with the phone number.
