Sending Mail Error with iPhone Mail App

Specs: iOS 6.1.3
I setup my email account with the mail app on my iphone. I can receive messages fine but if I try to send a messsage it says, "Cannot send mail, A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient [email address] was rejeted by the server". When I set up my email I had to do it as other, maybe I did something wrong.

I think your outgoing messages might be rejected because they are not authenticated.

In your email account settings for the outgoing (SMTP) server, make sure you enable this:

"My outgoing server requires authentication"

Then enable "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

Authentication is now required by most email providers to help minimise the amount of spam that they receive from unauthorised users of their service who pretend to be you. If the message is not authenticated with your password and username, it gets rejected.

I don't see an option anywhere to turn on "My outgoing server requires authentication"
Under the authentication menu I have it set to password, is that it?
