RIM's BlackPad

Specs: Windows 7
RIM, famous for the BlackBerry, is still shifty on the details about its upcoming BlackPad tablet. Supposedly, it will require a BlackBerry smartphone connected to it in order to go on the internet when Wi-Fi is unavailable. That limitation aside, BlackBerry doesn't usually mess around when it comes to delivering on their devices.

I've been staying out of the tablet wars so far, but if BlackBerry gets past the early bumps okay with launching this, I'm giving serious thought to picking one up.

Tablets are useful devices but in the end everyone needs to find out what are they best for and the most important part is what they can do for you. RIM is one company we can count on a good delivery, their tablet is based on the same Blackberry OS and they count with their loyal user base. Many companies are taking their time to create a solid device because they don't want to miss this market opportunity. Also, I want to see what HP is going to release next year.
