Photogene ($3) is the only app I could find that includes the resize option to a different resolution.

I guess I can suggest Photoshop Mobile (free). It allows you to crop your photos, not the same you need.

Camera Genius 1.5 ($0.99) looks very good for taking the pictures with more options than the standard software and has many features that Apple doesn’t include.

Crop for Free, a utility to crop your photos, retains image quality, rotate your photos and ability to crop multiple times before saving.

There is no mention on reduce or crop an image in iOS4 yet. But you could always reduce the size of a picture before you send it by email: You know when you tap on the send by mail icon, the pop up menu ask if you want to reduce the message size and offers 4 size options for your image. Send the photo to you by email in one of the lower size options.

Thank you for both the above comments. Yes I know about reducing the size when you attach it to a email or text, but I'm doing ebay stuff from my phone and its when you import from the camera roll the photos are often too large.
Probably an ebay thing not an iphone one.
Very helpful though, thanks very much.
