Solved Missing sound in iPad after IOS update

October 9, 2013 at 19:55:40
Specs: 7.0.2 (11A501)
Since installing iOS 7.0.2 I have been unable to hear the sound on videos in apps such as TV3, Internet radio apps and similar. Although other apps and the iTunes the sound works works fine.

I have a second iPad of exactly the same model which is functioning completely normally.

A long shot, but try re-installing the sound driver. The Apple website should have the driver but I'm guessing there because I have never owned an Apple product, I'm just assuming you get drivers for an iPad the same way I get them for my Windows PC.

You can't load separate drivers on an iPad. All drivers are included in the OS and are not available for reloading.

Try a reset, hold the home ans sleep buttons down until you see the Apple logo.

You are not alone with this problem though, many people over on the Apple forums are complaining about the same issue.
