✔ Best Answer
Telstra is your Internet Service Provider, your router will have it's own SSID or network name which is the network you should be looking for.

On your iPhone, go to Settings, WiFi, and you should see the names of WiFi networks around you. You may just see yours or if your neighbors have wireless routers you will probably see theirs too. You will also need to know the password to the router. The password may be on a label located somewhere on the router, usually on the bottom.

Ok so you need to sync it with iTunes. Then you will be able to use your phone

thanks for your help; my son-in-law came to the rescue; I had to download itunes to my computer, then create an itunes account and then i was able to attach the phone by usb cable and follow the prompts to set it up again; working fine now I think; I also downloaded the iphone manual; over 140 pages so couldn't print it, but have saved it for future need; thanks
