iPhone 6 cannot open the page...

July 28, 2018 at 20:22:52
Specs: Windows 10
The message is: "Safari cannot open the page because it could not connect to the server"
No solution yet. I've tried everything posted. Rebooted my router, reset my iPhone settings, cleared Safari history and cookies, etc., etc., etc. Any ideas?

Is it happening on all websites or just one?

What iPhone setting did you reset? Sometimes you have to completely reset the network settings.

Have you setup mac filtering to control/limit access to the router via wifi?

Do you have any other wifi device (a laptop/desktop PC or even another phone) with which to test the wifi aspect of the router?

Does your iphone connect to other wifi access points OK and thus get online via Safari?

If it works when you are near the router then you need it set so that it picks up the iPhone server when it is out of router range. The setting is usually called "WiFi" which is a tad confusing.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Try changing the DNS, Primary to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4
