iPad's enough functionality

Apple Ipad 16gb tablet

Specs: Macintosh
This is not a true or false question.

I use and depend on fast and powerful desktops and to me the iPad is very far away from that so I am not after an underpowered extremely light PC. But sure when a device like the iPad could use a full operating system to run powerful apps fast enough I will be interested. I do see the iPad as a very convenient and useful device for the vast majority of uses and users. An eReader, movie and video player, internet browser that can play games and runs some productivity apps.

However, being well designed, convenient and useful doesn't make it near to perfection and wont make other tablet devices in the market useless, inferior or superior. Manny important features may be lacking but does it offers enough functionality as it is available right now?

Definitely!!! it does
For internet is great is instant on and it last 12-13 hours!!
Gaming is very good also, I play all the time and movies look
gorgeous although I appreciate stereo sound. I know the speakers
would be very close but for movies and games it shows. True HD
1080 wide format would be awesome but I don't know if anyone could
tell the difference. A mini display port would be very nice and it is still
heavy and a bit hard to manipulate holding it with one hand and using
the iPad with the other. I would like to have the ability to use my iPad
as a real hard drive to carry my files and connect to my PC. Some of
this may be short comings but the iPad is good enough right now.
