Solved iPad screen got freeze

Specs: iOS
My iPad mini 2 got freeze. Long press the Power button doesn't shut it down. Press the Home button, nothing happened. What should I do? The battery is charged to 97%, should I wait until it dies out? If so, that's a really long time.

Hold down the Home and Power buttons (together) for 20 seconds or so. This should completely turn off the iPad (screen will turn off). Then hold the Power buttonn for 5 seconds, or more, until the Apple Logo appears; after a little while the iPad will restart.

This happened to me a few times and then it stopped occuring. What you need to do is hold BOTH the power button + the home button until the ipad shuts off. After it does let go of the home button and hold the power for like 2 secounds until it boots up. This does a hardware reset I believe and it should work. No files, etc will be deleted or damaged!
