Solved ipad overheated when charging and wont turn on

Specs: Windows 10
My chord was beside a heater and was too hot when i plugged iPad in so this morning it is dead abd I have tried to power it on and nothing ... help

You can try to, hold down the power button and the home button together for about 20 seconds, if that doesn't work, try plugging the ipad into a computer. If this doesn't work, you may need a new battery.... If you haven't replaced one on an ipad before it may be safer to take it to a store.

Hmm - might be more than just the battery if the iPad was "hot"... You may have cooked some of the chips - specifically the processor and other integrated ccts... They don't like excessive heat; even more so if they're still rather warm - hot - when you apply power to them.

Apple-land likely will be your best port of call to ascertain the situation...
